Voodoo People Album Part II - Page 19 Done!

Wait... whut...? Page 19...? Did I miss something...?

I finished this page because I knew exactly how I wanted it to turn out.
I don't feel like I need to go by page number, I rather just work on those lay-outs of which I'm sure how I want to finish it.

Today I introduce to you "The Baron", or at least three of him :

I used a lot of varnished pieces in this lay-out. The name tags, made with Sizzix Alterations Thinlits Labels and Tim Holtz Alpha's, are covered with 2 layers of varnish. I did the same with the Sizzix Corner Flourish #2 and other black die-cuts. The frames are cut with Spellbinders.

The top picture's is covered, on request, with respect for his privacy.

I've let the Flourish die-cuts loose and they curl slightly because of the layers of varnish.

The roses are a part of the Voodoo theme and I try to use them in every part of the album. I do feel this lay-out has turned out exactly as I wished.

I would like to enter this lay-out into the next challenges :

1) Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge : So Glossy!
The challenge inspired me to try out some glossy accents and it turned out to be just what I needed.

  2. What an absolutely unique and clever layout! I love the imagination behind it and how you created not only a stunning layout, but invented such a great character, too! This screams with originality and I really like how you combined the roses with the darker elements. Thank you so much for sharing such an amazing creation with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. It got me thinking in whole new ways about creating my own world of characters!
